Jogja Nostalgia

Two months after the earthquake May 27, 2006, the number of visitors YogYES.COM gradually began to improve after chance fell to 30%. Similar developments are also reflected in the number of reservations and contacts through this site. We hope it was a signal the beginning of the rise of tourism in Yogyakarta.

On August 19, 2006, YogYES.COM will also complete three years of age. A young age but is sufficient to mark the existence of the self as the Yogyakarta Tourism Catalogue Number one on the internet. In August we also have to add personnel and move into new offices at Griya Indah No. Wirokerten. Kotagede 249. Hopefully then we can serve site visitors and advertisers better.

Recognizing that greater responsibility has been waiting in front of our eyes, we present a new rubric that is the Tour de Djokdja which will be updated regularly. The format of the e-zine (online magazine) with the theme which is closely related to tourism in Yogyakarta.

For this inaugural issue, we chose the theme "Jogja Nostalgia." Its contents are the articles about a popular tourist place in Yogyakarta, the places most likely you've never visited, namely: Malioboro, Kotagede, and Kasongan. Our expectation of the articles are able to invite you reopen the sheet of good memories when traveling in Yogyakarta.

Congratulations reminisce.
